It's Sabriel! I read the book again over the summer, drew this in August, but only got around to colouring it now. I tried to actually pay attention to the description of her in the book instead of just imagining her as the picture on the front cover, with... interesting results. Like, what's up with the front of her surcoat? Has it grown some extra skirts??

Note to self: learn to paint water.

This is lovely! Sabriel is a favorite book of mine so I was excited to find this. Her armor/gear looks like it has real weight to it and I like her face. I also really like that you did her hair like it is described in the book instead of what is on the cover.
